Rogers Roubaix Growlin' Gran Fondo Gravel Ride

Rogers Roubaix Growlin' Gran Fondo Gravel Ride

Rogers Roubaix offers up some of the rowdy roads in the Rogers area. These can be minimum maintenance roads or just some sketchy B- roads. Don’t let this intimidate you if it’s something you don’t typically ride. Most of these roads lead you to something totally awesome, like old stuff that is super cool to take pictures with you and your buddies. The gravel promoters aren’t completely evil, they just have mechanics who planned the routes! So, the best thing to know is that these roads are coming, conditions probably might be tough, but you’ll be fine, promise. You might have to suffer through it a bit, but it will be worth it. Even if you are physically prepared, you may face a mental battle slogging through a tough section of the course. Even if it doesn’t lead you somewhere cool, at least it’s not the Land run 100!

Coler Enduro

Coler Enduro

What is Enduro?
Enduro racing combines many aspects from other mountain bike disciplines- endurance of cross country, technical features of downhill, and requires adaptability to all kinds of terrain and styles of trail. In a cross country race, riders compete in a group for fastest overall time on a course with terrain most suitable for a hardtail or short travel bike. A DH race is solo and downhill only; the course features rock gardens, rough terrain, and big features that test the riders technical ability. Enduro racing combines elements of both disciplines to offer a course that is both technically challenging, but also requires some pedaling endurance. The timing method is unique as well. Riders are timed primarily on downhill, diverse segments, over several stages throughout the course.

Come out to Coler Bike Park and race!
