ABOUT: Friends of Arkansas Singletrack (FAST) was started as a means to keep the trails maintained in Bentonville but has grown to be much more. We are now a group of volunteers who together promote the sport of mountain biking through a variety of goals and programs. Our first goal in everything we do is to promote the growth of off-road cycling in Northwest Arkansas. Next, we educate cyclists in the safe and responsible use of mountain bikes and the sustainability of the trail system. This education is given through a variety of programming including our FAST Kids club and our yearly kid's mountain bike camp. We also strive to promote the appreciation of, and care for, the off-road cycling trails. This is accomplished through our Adopt-a-Trail Program and with organized trail love days where we maintain and give back to the trails in need. And finally, we want to promote the recognition of the bicycle as a means of recreation, health, and transportation which is accomplished through our family-friendly and community building events, race teams, and weekly group rides. In addition, our FAST Patrol team, who are trained to help out those in need on the trail, are always giving back by keeping people safe at races and patrolling the trails as needed. Through these programs and our active community of members, we help keep the sport of mountain biking active and growing in Northwest Arkansas.
MISSION STATEMENT: Friends of Arkansas Singletrack (FAST) is a dedicated group of volunteers working together to develop the sport of mountain biking in conjunction with the Northwest Arkansas off-road trail system.
