Request for SOQ's for Regional Bike Share
BikeNWA is accepting Statements of Qualifications and Performance Data for evaluation with respect to BikeNWA's need for Regional Bicycle Sharing Services of a qualified distributor of software and equipment and/or operator of a bicycle sharing service. This is a general request for SOQ's for 2018 for a potential regional project. It is BikeNWA's intent that the selected provider(s) will provide all equipment necessary for the operation of a bicycle sharing service under a lease agreement between the provider and BikeNWA and/or will provide equipment under a lease agreement and the provider will operate the bicycle share service under a contract or will provide professional services to staff as may be determined. At a minimum, the provider and/or distributor should provide bicycles (including an option for electric pedal-assist bicycles) for the system. We are interested in both station/ dock and/or stationless/dockless systems ranging from a minimum of 50 bicycles to potentially more than 200 bicycles for operation in the Bentonville and Fayetteville, Arkansas areas. Potential expansion of the system could include cities along the Razorback Regional Greenway and other cities in Washington and Benton counties of Arkansas. Evaluation criteria and procedures for the procurement of professional services in Arkansas will be utilized.
