ABOUT: NWA Trailblazers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been working to develop multi-use and soft surface trails for over two decades. NWA Trailblazers began their quest to build trails with their first project, an asphalt paved trail around Lake Bella Vista which even to this day is widely popular. With the success of the first greenway trail in the region came the pressure to build more, so they partnered with many residents and businesses in Bentonville and Bella Vista to begin the early planning on how to link Bentonville and Bella Vista together by a greenway trail. This was an effort to improve the community by making a park-like green belt setting and one of the first greenway trails in our region that would connect and bring multiple cities together. In 2013, the last connection was made with the extension of the trail through the tunnel bridges of the I-49 interchange and along the beautiful streams that flow into Bella Vista. The trail program continues now with continued development and pressure to make connections to the Razorback Regional Greenway (RRG) with other spur trails and secondary connections. There have been several sections of trails that have added to or completed sections of the RRG that have been developed by the organization. NWA Trailblazers specializes and excels at building quality trails at a much quicker time frame than standard by utilizing qualified designers and contractors within their organization. In the past 15 years, NWA Trailblazers has built over 100 miles of paved and soft surface trails and continue to be the industry leader in trail development.
